Graphite Pearl Bongo 4

This bass is purdy special...it used to belong to the hard-rockin' guy at left. I first played the bass at the EBMM Open House in 2005 and fell in love immediately. And so did all the other guys who played it, really. I later tried to talk Dargin into selling it to me, but he said it was Sterling's favorite...

...and Sterling, being a gracious and thoughtful kinda guy, sent me this bass as a way to keep me quiet about certain things I know concerning him and a troop of midgets. Okay, actually, it was to thank me for taking care of some business for him, which I do on a regular basis with no thought given to "thank you" gifts....but that's the kind of person he is. He just sent me his bass. How cool is that?

The boy appears to approve of the single humbucker configuration. He's pretty smart.
