Envy Green Limited Edition Bongo

Limited Edition Bongos have gold lettering on a black headstock. The back of the neck and headstock, however, remain green.

Limited Edition Bongo in "Envy Green" I ordered this one in the summer of 2004 from Daddy O's Music Shack in Springfield, IL, and hereby recommend that you buy your Musicman products from them, too. Doug, owner and operator of Daddy O's, is a good guy AND a bassist and will hook you right up. Anyhoo, the Limited Edtions from EB are sort of a new concept, designed, as best as I can tell, to get me to buy more basses. The electronics are stock; the differences are the colors and other cosmetic features. Not sure how many Envy Green basses were produced, but there was a limited time during which they could be ordered, and that time is over. I'm sure there will be a new custom color coming soon, because otherwise, how would they get me to buy more basses? I ask you. Errrr, other features that differ from stock MM basses are the black headstock with gold lettering and of course the neckplate does indicate "Limited Edtion". Very fancy.
