Fender Precision
This bass was a
mongrel. I had the neck for years and it languished in a closet
or was briefly attached to a Jazz bass body, as I recall. Then
I bought a MIJ Precision and the neck was not really to my liking,
so I broke out the old 1977 neck and voila! A good bass was born.
I eventually replaced the old MIJ pickup with a DiMarzio Vintage
and added a Bad-Ass Bridge, and played this bass constantly throughout
the 80s and 90s. It was also the official Fungo Bat Utility Bass.
